Frequently asked

How do I use the extension?

Open any web page, click the AuditSEO icon in your toolbar, and you'll instantly see the page's on-page SEO score, title & meta lengths (measured in real pixels), heading outline, link counts, Google and social previews, and structured-data checks. Nothing is sent anywhere — the analysis runs locally in your browser, only when you click.

What data does it collect?

The extension collects nothing and sends nothing to any server. It uses only the activeTab and scripting permissions to read the current page when you click the icon. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What does Pro include, and how is it billed?

Pro monitoring re-checks up to 50 pages daily and emails you the moment a page's SEO changes (score drop, lost meta tag, accidental noindex, broken structured data), with full change history. It's billed through Stripe at $9/month or $79/year. See Pro for details.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Cancel anytime by emailing support@auditseo.app — we process cancellations same-day. You can also use the manage-subscription link in Stripe's receipt emails. Refund terms are in our Terms.

The extension isn't showing results on a page

Some browser-internal pages (like chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, and PDF viewers) don't allow extensions to read them, so AuditSEO can't score them. Try it on a normal website. If a regular page still doesn't work, email us the URL.

How do I remove the extension?

Right-click the AuditSEO icon in your toolbar and choose "Remove from Chrome", or manage it at chrome://extensions. Because it stores nothing, removing it leaves nothing behind.
